Chunksofmeat Pay Policy for Just Bills

Band pay and show information at Just Bills by Chunksofmeat:

NEW OPTION !!! Bands who want to play large shows at Just Bills have the option to request 200 advanced tickets for $100 in advance when you pick up the tickets. That’s 50 cents per ticket. You sell the tickets for however much you want or give them away for FREE. No other money needs turned in at the day of show. Your standard door tally’s still remain in tack to make more money at the door as stated below. This option does not apply to national act shows and is non refundable. This has to be requested 4 weeks prior to show date. And is PER each band on the showcase.

STANDARD TICKET OPTION  Bands can request in advance the standard 32 tickets or more (at request) at no charge up front. Your band keeps $2 per ticket and turns in the day of the show $3 per ticket.

Door Admission: Chunksofmeat Productions has intentionally kept our door charge as low as possible and we are an 18 an up club only. We try to keep our staff to a minimum to keep the door charge fair.

How much does my band get paid? Bands playing a Chunks show at Just Bills get paid $2 per head per how many people they bring in at the door after the first 5 people. The first 5 people pays for Chunksofmeat Staff and sound system. Our door personnel asks each person which band they are there to see and Tally’s it. You may check with the door person at anytime to see how many people show up for your band.

What if my band is from out of the 75 mile radius of St. Louis? Out of town bands which we will keep no more than one per show get paid a percentage from the top at no less than $25 up to $100 all depending on the size of the show.

Is my band required to sell tickets? Tickets for local shows are optional at your request if you feel it can bring you in more people I will make them for your band for your show and we can set them up online. National act show ticket sales will be decided per show.

Show Information:

Format - Bands must be all original

Set - Keep your set under 40 minutes unless instructed in advance

Week of the show the line up will be sent out to each band via email

Day of the show bands are expected to load in to Just Bills 6:30- 7:00 with equipment if show time is at 7:30 (most cases). Sound check for first band starting is 8:00. Bands please be prompt and if your band must cancel, please do so weeks in advance so we can have another band on that date.

Note – We like to see bands bringing in flyers and promoting your show at other Just Bills shows. DO NOT plan on playing for regulars, there isn't none. You'll be playing for your own fan base like at any other club. It's up to you and your band how many people you bring in to play for.

PAY TIME - All bands get paid at the end of the show. Do not ask during the show to get paid and don’t plan on leaving before the show is over. We expect each band to support each other. THANKS FOR SUPPORTING LOCAL MUSICIANS AS WE DO.

Promote and Support Policy! It’s about your band!

Like any club there are few regulars that come to local shows. It’s up to your band to bring in people by advertising. As Chunksofmeat advertises by flyering, web site, email promotion and Street Team personal, we are asking your band to PROMOTE your show by any means of advertisement and SUPPORTING other bands by coming to Just Bills and participating. NO BAND wants to play for nobody. Bands who have played for us may request a show date, new bands need to click here and request information how to get booked. To keep Just Bills hosting local Metal shows, the owner must be profiting. We would like to keep this going with Just Bills and the STL bands, so do your duty as an STL band and PROMOTE and SUPPORT. Try your damnedest to bring in 20 people for your band. Now that's not to hard is it? And remember bands and band members who do not stick around at the show and support the other bands, might not have a chance to play Just Bills again. Thanks for supporting STL bands.
